ABB: Q3 EPS soars 149%

Meanwhile, ABB booked orders of $8,052m, down -2% (comparable +2%).
Operating profit reached $1,259m, i.e. a margin of 15.8%, with its operating EBITA coming in at $1,392m, up 13%, with an operating EBITA margin of 17.4%, an 80bp improvement y-o-y.
ABB has announced basic EPS of $0.48, up 149%.
Regarding Q4 2023, it expects mid-single-digit comparable sales growth, with its Q4 operating EBITA margin sequentially lower than in Q3, at around 16%.
