ABB: shareholders approve dividend payment
(CercleFinance.com) - Shareholders of Swiss engineering firm ABB on Thursday approved a dividend payment of 0.
80 Swiss franc per share, with 99.8% percent of the votes.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the meeting held in Dübendorf, Switzerland, took place under extraordinary conditions, as shareholders were not allowed to attend in person.
ABB previously recommended shareholders give voting instructions to the independent proxy, which represented 80% of the share capital, with a right to vote.
The shareholders also approved the group's financial results for 2019 and Peter Voser was confirmed as chairman of its board of directors with 97.6 percent of the votes
