(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss engineering group ABB said on Monday that earlier this month it cancelled 46.
6 million shares that were repurchased under a share buyback program.
The cancellation, authorised by shareholders on 13 April, will bring ABB's total number of issued shares to 2.17 billion (from 2.21 billion).
ABB's treasury stock is currently 34.1 million shares, corresponding to 1.6 percent of the total number of shares in issue.
