(CercleFinance.com) - New York investor Israel Englander, the owner of the Millennium Management hedge fund, said on Tuesday that he had raised its stake in Swiss specialty chemicals maker Clariant above the 3 percent threshold.
Englander said in a regulatory filing that he now holds 3.04 percent of the share capital through Millennium Partners and Integrated Core Strategies Asia, from a previous position of below 3 percent, as a result of an acquisition of shares.
Englander came to the fore as a shareholder in Clariant in October 2019 when he revealed a stake of 3.45 percent.
