Credit Suisse: postpones publication of annual report
(CercleFinance.com) - Credit Suisse said on Thursday that it has postponed the publication of its 2022 annual report, explaining that it needs more time to assess the impact of certain remarks made to it by the US SEC.
The Swiss private bank said that it was contacted by the SEC last night regarding its technical treatment of revisions to its cash flow statement for FY 2020 and 2019.
Its management believes it is prudent to delay the publication of its accounts for a short period of time in order to better understand the comments received.
The group, which has not yet set a new date for publication, said that the financial results for 2022 - which it had unveiled on 9 February - are not affected by these considerations.
Credit Suisse shares were down over 5% in Zurich on Thursday morning, the biggest fall in the SMI index.
