Credit Suisse: reorganisation of private banking ahead?

(CercleFinance.com) - Credit Suisse may soon reorganise its international private banking unit from seven to four regions, each will each will have their own management and greater decision-making power, according to Bloomberg, which cites related sources.

Bloomberg said that these seven regions of this unit - created in 2015 after the arrival of Tidjane Thiam in charge of the group - would be Latin America, Brazil, Western Europe, Southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Bloomberg reports that the reorganisation could be presented as early as this week, as the institution approaches the final phase of a three-year review that is aimed at focusing more on wealth management rather than investment banking.
