Roche: collaboration agreement with Ibex and AWS
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche announced on Thursday that it will collaborate with the Israeli-US group Ibex Medical Analytics and Amazon Web Services in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) for cancer diagnosis.
The Swiss pharmaceutical group wants to give pathologists access to algorithms developed by Ibex to better diagnose breast and prostate cancers.
The Roche and Ibex tools are to be hosted on servers belonging to Amazon Web Services, Amazon's cloud subsidiary.
