Roche: FoundationOne Liquid CDx approved by FDA
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche has announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved FoundationOne Liquid CDx, a comprehensive pan-tumor liquid biopsy test from its subsidiary Foundation Medicines, for patients with solid tumors.
"FoundationOne Liquid CDx is a comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) test that analyses more than 300 cancer-related genes and multiple genomic signatures to optimise patient care," the Swiss healthcare group said.
It says that this FDA approval is based on clinical and analytical validation data, including over 7,500 samples and 30,000 unique versions across more than 30 types of cancer.
