Roche: further delay in tender offer on Spark
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche announces that it has extended the deadline for the tender offer for Spark Therapeutics shares once again, giving the Swiss healthcare group more time to finalise the acquisition of the US gene therapy company.
The deadline for Spark shareholders to accept its 4.3-billion-dollar takeover bid, which was due to expire at 5 pm on Tuesday 1 October, New York time, has therefore been postponed until 5 pm on 30 October.
The offer was extended to give more time for the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to complete their reviews of the transaction.
