Roche: US regulator approves Xolair prefilled syringes
(CercleFinance.com) - The US Food and Drug Administration has approved prefilled syringes of Xolair for the treatment of allergic asthma and chronic idiopathic urticaria indications, the drugmaker said.
The new formulation is expected to be available in the US by the end of the year, Roche said.
Xolair for subcutaneous use is currently available in a 150 mg single-dose vial with lyophilized, sterile powder for reconstitution.
