Syngenta: renewed collaboration with US agency.
(CercleFinance.com) - Syngenta has signed an updated memorandum of understanding with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) so as to promote agriculture in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
The Swiss agro-chemical firm said a key focus will be to improve the capacity of smallholder farmers to use inputs to boost their yields, as well as identifying and equipping young men and women interested in farming as a business.
The collaboration between Syngenta and USAID began in 2013.
