Barry Callebaut: completes acquisition of GKC Foods
(CercleFinance.com) - Barry Callebaut said on Wednesday that it has successfully closed the acquisition of GKC Foods, as part of the company's plan to expand its business in Australia and New Zealand.
GKC Foods, a producer of chocolate, coatings and fillings, serves consumer chocolate brands in both countries, whose average chocolate consumption is the highest in Asia-Pacific.
The integration will start now, Barry Callebaut said, without disclosing the financial details of the deal.
