AB InBev: in deal with Tilray to create cannabis beverages
(CercleFinance.com) - AB InBev, the world's largest brewer, has signed a partnership with Canadian cannabis producer Tilray aiming to market beverages containing tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol.
The partnership will combine AB InBev's experience in beverages with Tilray's expertise in cannabis products, to research how to create non-alcoholic beverages.
Each company intends to invest up to 50 million dollars, for a total of up to 100 million dollars.
So far the partnership will be limited to Canada.
