Roularta: sale of 50% Medialaan stake completed
(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian publisher Roularta said it has closed the sale its 50% stake in Flemish TV group Medialaan to Dutch media company De Persgroep, after approval from the competition authorities.
Roularta - which is currently trying to focus on local media and national quality magazines - however said the acquisition of the 50% stake in Mediafin - the owner of De Tijd et L'Echo newspapers - from De Persgroep still has to be approved by the Belgian watchdog.
