Gimv: sells stake in geospatial software firm Luciad.
(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian investment fund Gimv said on Wednesday that it has sold its stake in geospatial software components maker Luciad to Swedish engineering group Hexagon AB.
While not disclosing the financial details of this transaction, Gimv said the investment generated a return "well above Gimv's long-term average return."
Gimv invested in Luciad - which provides high performance geospatial situational awareness technology that powers critical operations for Airbus Defence & Space, Boeing, or NATO - in 2013.
