KBC: plans updated at investor day in Ireland.
(CercleFinance.com) - KBC aims to be one of the best performing financial institutions in Europe and the reference in bancassurance in its core markets, the Belgian financial group said on Wednesday.
As an investor visit to Ireland, where the group operates KBC Bank Ireland, KBC has updated its financial guidance and said that it expected at least a 2.25% CAGR in income by 2020.
The group also confirmed a pay-out ratio policy of at least 50% of consolidated earnings.
Finally, KBC intends to invest a further 1.5 billion euros in digital transformation between 2017 and the end of 2020.
This update failed to convince investors on Euronext Brussels this morning, with the shares down 3.3% at under 65.6 euros.
