SLB: big deal with AWS and Shell
(CercleFinance.com) - SLB announces that it has signed a multi-year, three-way collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Shell to provide end-to-end digital workflows for Shell using SLB underwater solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure.
The collaboration aims to deliver digital solutions that will be used by the oil and gas company and provided to the energy sector. The digital workflows will use OSDU Data Platform standards.
The collaboration builds on SLB's existing strategic collaboration agreement with AWS and accelerates the availability of SLB's industry-leading software, including Petrel subsurface solutions and Techlog drilling solutions, on AWS.
