SLB: closing of OneSubsea JV
(CercleFinance.com) - SLB (formerly Schlumberger) has finished the previously announced creation of its joint venture with Aker Solutions and Subsea7, called OneSubsea, which it says will drive innovation and efficiency in subsea production.
"OneSubsea's leading technology portfolio will drive improved subsea asset performance while increasing energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions," the oilfield services group said.
Headquartered in Oslo and Houston, with 11,000 people working in all key operating regions of the world, OneSubsea is 70% owned by SLB, while Aker Solutions and Subsea7 have 20% and 10% stakes respectively.
