Schlumberger: partnership with BASF subsidiary
(CercleFinance.com) - Today Schlumberger announced that it has been selected by Wintershall Dea, a subsidiary of BASF that is specialised in the energy sector, as the preferred partner for the acceleration of its underground transformation program.
Together with Microsoft, Schlumberger was the first to bring the open source code of its data ecosystem to the OSDU, a reference cloud platform that Wintershall Dea will leverage for its underground data platform.
This solution now unlocks value for Wintershall Dea, democratizing its data, making its systems interoperable, and maximizing business performance, Schlumberger said.
