BASF: enters into licensing agreements with Evonik
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Evonik, granting the latter certain non-exclusive licensing rights to Opteinics - a BASF digital solution that aims to reduce the environmental footprint of the feed and animal protein industries.
The agreement will mean that Evonik integrates Opteinics into its global feed consulting services. Combined with Evonik's existing tools, this digital platform will help customers produce more sustainable feed and animal protein.
Launched in 2021 by BASF, Opteinics enables the measurement, analysis and minimisation of the environmental impact of animal proteins and can be integrated with feed formulation software.
