Uber: gears up for its IPO
(CercleFinance.com) - The Uber Group announced yesterday that it has filed the necessary documents for its IPO with the US stockmarket regulator, the SEC.
Often mentioned, the arrival of the US personal transport giant is unlikely to go unnoticed: analysts mention a valuation of between 90 billion and 100 billion dollars, including 10 billion raised on its flotation. It could be one of the largest transactions of its kind in history, comparable with that of Facebook in 2012.
While the stock is first expected to be listed in May, Uber has not yet disclosed its flotation price range.
