272 million euros this Thursday morning for the first half of 2017, representing a 57% leap year-on-year.
The number of orders fulfilled has increased in equivalent proportions to 6,908,721.
Degiro also reports 185,793 client accounts as at 30 June, which represents a gain of 81,813 compared to the same period in 2016.
The Dutch broker, which operates in 18 countries across Europe, states that all countries have made a positive contribution to first-half figures.
“The economies of scale we are making are allowing us to make ongoing investments in optimising our services. Against this backdrop, the recent launch of our new application has generated strong growth in mobile transactions. Additionally, the latest survey conducted among our clients shows very high client satisfaction, which can be seen in the large number of accounts opened by way of our sponsorship system. This system allows both the sponsor and the person sponsored to benefit through free brokerage fees”, explained Julien Vallet, head of French Market.
