5bn AUD (just under $1bn) acquisition of United Malt Group.
To finance the acquisition of United Malt, KKR, with the participation of Bpifrance and the Crédit Agricole Group, led a combined investment of E550m.
United Malt operates 11 production plants in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, supplying barley to microbrewers and distillers, as well as large traditional brewers.
