Whirlpool: completes sale of home beer fermentation system
(CercleFinance.com) - US home appliance maker Whirlpool said it has completed the sale of the home beer fermentation system that was developed by its innovation incubator WLabs.
The "Vessi Fermentor" has been sold to 80West Labs, a company belonging to an operator-investor group based in Chicago, and KZValve, a Nebraska-based firm involved in the original engineering of the product.
