Walmart: confirms stake in TikTok

(CercleFinance.com) - On Saturday Walmart confirmed that it will take a 7.
5% stake in TikTok Global, the new company to consolidate the US activities of the Chinese TikTok video-sharing app.

Associated with the corporate software publisher Oracle - which will take a 12.5% stake in the company's capital - Walmart also took the opportunity to sign an agreement with TikTok Global for the provision of e-commerce and payment services.

Decidedly very active this Monday, the group also announced the launch of "Free Assembly", a new line of clothing for men and women with a "modern" and minimalist style offering fifty models at prices ranging from nine to 45 dollars.

Walmart also announced on Monday its intention to achieve a net zero greenhouse gas emissions target by 2040, including electrifying its fleet of vehicles and using wind and solar energy for its sites.
