Paramount: Q3 EPS halved

The parent company of CBS, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, amongst others, nevertheless posted revenues that rose by 5% to 6.92 billion dollars, with growth in its direct-to-consumer and film divisions offsetting a decline in the television division.
The group highlights the success of its streaming platforms, which gained 4.6 million subscribers for Paramount+, as well as the success of the horror film "Smile" in cinemas and "Top Gun: Maverick" in digital sales.
