Verizon: board approves dividend increase

(CercleFinance.com) - Verizon today announced that its board of directors has approved a quarterly dividend of 65.
25 cents per share, up 1.25 cents sequentially.

It will be payable on 1 November to shareholders on record as of 7 October.

This is the 16th consecutive year that the board has approved a dividend increase. The telecoms operator has paid out around 5.4 billion dollars in cash dividends in H1 2022.

Our consistently disciplined approach to the market to maximise growth and profitability has again put Verizon's board in a position to increase the dividend, management said.
