UPS: solid Q3 earnings
(CercleFinance.com) - UPS has reported Q3 2020 adjusted EPS that is up 10.
1% at 2.28 dollars, beating the consensus, while its adjusted operating profit rose by 9.9% to 2.4 billion dollars.
At 21.2 billion dollars, revenues for the Atlanta-based logistics giant rose by 15.9%, which was shared by all its business segments, reflecting a 13.5% increase in average daily volumes.
However, uncertainty around the duration and impact of the coronavirus pandemic has prevented UPS from reasonably estimating its operating performance over the next few quarters, with it still refraining from providing financial targets.
