UPS: raises dividend

(CercleFinance.com) - UPS announced on Friday night that its board of directors has decided to raise its quarterly dividend by 5.
5% to 0.96 dollar per A or B share.

This dividend will be paid on 12 March to shareholders on record as of 26 February.

The Atlanta-based logistics and courier group says that it has increased or maintained its dividend for nearly 50 years, and that its dividend has more than quadrupled since 2000.

For the record, at the end of January, UPS published Q4 2018 EPS that is up 17% at 1.94 dollar, adjusted for extraordinary items, which exceeded the consensus by three cents.
