3M: Q3 adjusted EPS up 4%

(CercleFinance.com) - 3M has announced Q3 2022 sales of 8.
6 billion dollars, down 4% y-o-y, or up 2% on an organic basis.

Adjusted EPS reached 2.69 dollars, up 4% from the 2.58 dollars announced a year ago.
Management said that the group continues to execute its strategies and deliver for customers in a very uncertain environment.

For FY 2022, 3M expects organic sales growth of 1.5% to 2% (tightened down from 1.5% to 3.5% previously), along with adjusted EPS of 10.1 to 10.35 dollars, up from 10.3 to 10.8 previously.

3M said that its new estimates take into account the strengthening US dollar and uncertain macroeconomic conditions.
