Tesla: Walmart Canada triples its truck order

(CercleFinance.com) - Walmart Canada announced on Tuesday that it had decided to more than triple its orders of the "Tesla Semi", the electric truck developed by the Californian automaker.


The Canadian subsidiary of the US distribution giant explains that it now plans to order a total of 130 trucks, to date representing one of the largest orders of electric vehicles in the country.

For the record, Walmart Canada recently announced its intention to invest some 3.5 billion dollars over the next five years to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040.
