Tesla: stock offering priced at 767 dollars per share

(CercleFinance.com) - Tesla said late on Thursday that its stock offering of 2 billion dollars has been priced at 767 dollars per share, representing a small discount relative to the stock's current price.


In comparison, the Tesla shares have closed at 804 dollars last night on the Nasdaq, after the electric car maker said it would raise new capital through a share issue

Elon Musk, the group's chief executive officer, said he will buy up to 13,037 shares for approximately 10 million dollars, while Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle and member of Tesla's board of directors, will buy up to 1,303 shares for 1 million dollars.

In all, Tesla plans to offer 2,650,000 shares in the capital increase, or 3,047,500 shares if underwriters exercise their option in full.
