Qualcomm: achieves benchmark performance with Ericsson

(CercleFinance.com) - Telstra, Ericsson and Qualcomm Technologies today announced a new 5G mmWave download speed benchmark of 7.
3 Gbps achieved on Telstra's commercial network in Queensland, Australia.

Iskra Nikolova, Telstra's head of network and infrastructure, said the performance was "a significant leap" from the previous benchmark of 5.9 Gbp set in February 2022.

The improvement in maximum download speeds translates directly into improved network capacity, which benefits all Telstra customers, it added.
