Philip Morris International: chairman to leave for Ferrari

(CercleFinance.com) - Philip Morris International confirmed on Monday that its board chairman, Louis Camilleri, would assume the role of CEO of Ferrari after the surprise departure of Sergio Marchionne for health reasons over the weekend.


"The long term relationship between our two companies is deep and meaningful and we look forward to continued business collaboration”, the cigarette maker said.

Camilleri will continue to serve as non-executive chairman of the PMI board, the group said.
