Pfizer: expands offering for low-income countries

(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer has announced that it is expanding its "Deal for a Healthier World" product offering on a not-for-profit basis to 45 low-income countries, which now includes the entire portfolio for which the US company holds global rights.


Launched in May 2022, this initiative initially included a commitment to provide access to all its patented medicines and vaccines available in the US or EU on a not-for-profit basis to 45 low-income countries, representing a total population of 1.2 billion people.

However, in order to better align with the burden of disease and unmet patient need in these countries, it will now expand its offering to include off-patent products, bringing the total offering from 23 to approximately 500 products.
