Pfizer: vaccine effective against new variants

(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer and BioNTech announce that, according to a study conducted with the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), antibodies from people who have received their Covid-19 vaccine neutralize CoV-2 SARS with a mutation associated with rapid transmission.


Both health groups specify that these results concern the rapidly spreading variants of the virus that have initially been seen in the UK and South Africa: two different variants, although which share the N501Y mutation.
