JCPenney: retail industry veteran joins board
(CercleFinance.com) - Struggling US retailer J.
C. Penney said it has named on its board a retail industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, in a move to boost sales. The company announced that W. Paul Jones, a department store and specialty retailing specialist, was elected to its board of directors. Jones served as chief executive officer of U.S. discount retailer Payless ShoeSource, before retiring in 2017.
