Oracle: Q4 EPS exceeds expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening multinational computer technology corporation Oracle announced Q4 2018-19 adjusted EPS that is up 23% at 1.
16 dollar, while the consensus was only looking for 1.07 dollar, with the group's adjusted operating profit up 4% to 5.3 billion dollars.
The Enterprise software publisher's revenue inched up 1% to 11.1 billion dollars (+4% in local currency) with "high-margin Fusion and NetSuite cloud applications businesses are growing rapidly."
Over the full-year, Oracle's adjusted EPS therefore rose by 16% to 3.52 dollars, while revenues were pretty much stable at 39.5 billion dollars (+3% at constant exchange rates).
