Netflix: Q3 well above expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - The streaming giant Netflix yesterday reported a 31.
1% increase in its quarterly revenues, to 5.25 billion dollars.

EPS reached 1.47 dollar, against 89 cents in the same period a year ago, also exceeding the consensus by 43 cents.

Regarding the number of subscribers, the pioneer of online video announced that it has exceeded 158 million subscribers worldwide, against "just" 130.4 million a year ago.
