Microsoft: expands partnership with Schlumberger

(CercleFinance.com) - Schlumberger and Microsoft announced on Monday that they will expand their partnership to deliver innovative technologies for the energy industry.


The first product from the collaboration, an energy company data management tool for the OSDU open source data platform, is available from today.

This software suite will be compatible with Delfi, the cognitive exploration and production (E&P) environment developed by Schlumberger, including leveraging artificial intelligence.

Schlumberger's new enterprise data management system can be deployed on Microsoft's Azure application platform, Schlumberger's preferred partner for cloud applications.
