Microsoft: Better-than-anticipated EPS in Q4

(CercleFinance.com) - Microsoft unveiled Thursday evening adjusted net profits (non-GAAP) for its fourth quarter 2018-19 up 21% to 10.
6 billion dollars, making EPS of 1.37 dollar, when analysts expected on average 16 cents less.

The IT giant from Redmond (Washington) upped its revenue by 12% to 33.7 billion dollars, in particular with a growth of 39% in cloud commercial revenue, to attain 11 billion.

Over the whole financial year just gone, Microsoft has realised adjusted net profit growth of 22% to 36.8 billion dollars, or 4.75 dollars per share, with turnover up 14% to 125.8 billion.
