Merck: approval of Vaxelis in the United States

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi announces that the United States FDA has approved Vaxelis, its pediatric combined hexavalent pediatric vaccine conceived along with MSD (Merck & Co in North America) for the vaccination of children from the age of six weeks and up to four years (but before the age of five).


This product is indicated against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B, polio and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) invasive illnesses.

This vaccination will not be available on the American market before 2020.
