McDonald's: GrubHub picked as delivery partner in NYC

(CercleFinance.com) - Online food delivery company GrubHub has been picked by McDonald's as a delivery partner in the New York City area, the companies said late on Thursday.


The new partnership will concern approximately 500 McDonald's restaurants in the NYC and the Greater New York region, they said.

Deliveries will start later this month.

McDonald's delivery service was launched in the US in 2017, with partners including Uber Eats, and is expected to reach 4 billion dollars for both McDonald's and its franchise restaurants this year.

The GrubHub share was up 2% in early morning trading on Friday.
