Marriott: Q2 EPS more than doubles
(CercleFinance.com) - Marriott International has reported Q2 2022 adjusted EPS of 1.
80 dollar, up from 79 cents a year ago, with adjusted EBITDA of 1.02 billion dollars, up nearly 83% relative to Q2 2021.
The hotel chain has announced comparable system-wide constant dollar RevPAR (revenue per available room) that is up 70.6% y-o-y, but down 2.9% relative to the same period in pre-crisis 2019.
However, management says that with growing demand in all customer segments over the quarter and nearly all countries easing travel restrictions, global RevPAR exceeded 2019 levels in June.
