Eli Lilly: reduces 2022 EPS target

(CercleFinance.com) - Eli Lilly has reduced its 2022 adjusted EPS target range to 7.
90 to 8.05 dollars (from 8.15 to 8.30 dollars), with an adjusted operating margin of around 29% (from 30%) on revenues which it still expects at between 28.8 and 29.3 billion dollars.

The Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical company posted Q2 EPS that is down 32% to 1.25 dollar, on revenues that are down 4% to 6.49 billion dollars (-1% on a constant currency basis).

Lower realised prices and lower sales at Alimta, due to generic entry more than offset volume growth in key growth products, the healthcare group said.
