Estée Lauder: raises FY EPS target

(CercleFinance.com) - For its fiscal year 2018-19, Estée Lauder now expects adjusted EPS of between 4.
73 dollars and 4.82 dollars (against an initial forecast range of 4.62 dollars to 4.71 dollars) for sales growth that it still expects to between 4% and 5%.

In Q1 2018-19, the company posted earnings that are down 17% at 500 million dollars, or 1.34 dollars per share. Adjusted EPS rose 22% to 1.47 dollar, beating the consensus by 25 cents.

The group's revenues increased by 8% to 3.52 billion dollars (+11% excluding currency effects and other special items), with increases in most sales channels, geographical zones and product categories.
