Kraft Heinz: sale of B2B cheese powder business

(CercleFinance.com) - Kraft Heinz today announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to sell its B2B cheese powder business - sold through its ingredients business - to the Irish food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturer Kerry Group.


The sale reflects the ongoing and active optimisation of the food group's portfolio. It is expected to close in H2 2022, subject to regulatory review and approval.

The transaction includes the Albany, Minnesota manufacturing facility, which is expected to operate on schedule. Employees at this site will transfer from Kraft Heinz to Kerry Group.
