Kohl: raises FY EPS target range

(CercleFinance.com) - Reporting better-than-expected Q1 results, Kohl has said that it now expects EPS to be in a range of 5.
05 dollars to 5.50 dollars this year, up from a previous target range of 4.95 dollars to 5.45 dollars.

Excluding a loss on debt repayment, the group expects FY EPS of between 4.86 dollars and 5.31 dollars, for EPS that is up 65% at 64 cents for the past quarter, against a consensus of 50 cents.

In reported terms, Kohl saw its quarterly EPS increase by 15% to 45 cents, for a gross margin that is up 0.5 point at 36.9% and revenue growth of 3.5% to just over 4.2 billion dollars (+3.6% on a comparable basis).
