Kimberly-Clark: raises targets for 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - Kimberly-Clark now expects FY 2019 adjusted EPS of 6.
65 dollars to 6.80 dollars, with organic sales growth of 3%, compared with previous targets of 6.50 dollars to 6.70 dollars and 2% respectively.

For the past quarter, the hygiene products maker reported adjusted EPS that is up 5% at 1.67 dollar, six cents above the consensus, partly thanks to its cost savings program.

Revenues were flat at 4.6 billion dollars, as reported, but increased 5% organically, thanks to sales price increases that more than offset a slight decline in volumes.
