KKR: to invest $1.15bn in aircraft portfolio

(CercleFinance.com) - KKR is committing an additional 1.
15 billion dollars to expand its global portfolio of leased commercial aircraft, in partnership with Altavair.

KKR deployed and committed 1.7 billion dollars in capital to aviation transactions since forming a partnership with Altavair and acquiring a stake in the company in 2018.

KKR, in partnership with Altavair, has acquired over 90 commercial and freighter aircraft and has successfully leased more than 75% of the portfolio to leading airlines and operators worldwide.

After closing up 4% yesterday, the KKR share is pretty flat in pre-market trading today.
